The month of May at the Cancer Treatment Foundation: we covered a record amount of medical bills – 355 000 euros

<p>In May, more than 160 000 euros were donated to the cancer treatment fund the Gift of Life. The Council of the foundation approved support for the treatment of 33 people, 10 of whom will receive support for the first time. Altogether, the foundation covered nearly 355 000 euros of medical bills - more than ever before in a month.</p>

Basketball fans donate almost €7500 in support of cancer patients

The cancer treatment foundation ‘The Gift of Life’ attended almost 20 games during the 2017/2018 Alexela Basketball Champions League season that came to an end recently, during which volunteers collected donations and ran charity auctions. A total of close to €7500 was raised in support of cancer patients during games in Tallinn, Tartu, Rapla, Pärnu and Valga.<br>
