\nfrom July, all Circle K station checkouts in Estonia have the Gift of Life
\ncancer treatment foundation donation boxes at them, where customers can drop
\ntheir change or simply donate. Within the first three months nearly 5000 euros
\nwas raised, which will be handed to the foundation this week.<\/b><\/p>\n
“The hearts of our employees and
\ncustomers go out to activities of the Gift of Life cancer treatment
\nfoundation,” said Diana Veigel,
\nthe marketing manager of Circle K in Estonia. “What matters the most is
\nthat it allows us to do good with our customers and gather the many small
\ncontributions into a donation of considerable size. For our customers it is a
\nvery convenient and simple way to make their contribution for people fighting
\ncancer, as the donation boxes are in every Circle K full service station all
\nover Estonia and, of course, in Baltic Station convenience stores.”<\/p>\n
“But, in addition to our customers, our
\nemployees also donate for the charity \u2013 it is not uncommon for them to put
\ntheir tip into the donation boxes,” Diana Veigel added. “We thank
\neveryone who has made their contribution and I hope that together we can give
\nsomeone a very necessary opportunity and hope in the future as well in
\ncooperation with the foundation.”
“We appreciate all the people who have
\nfound our donation boxes at Circle K stations and made their donation
\nthere,” said Toivo T\u00e4navsuu,
\nthe head of the cancer treatment foundation. “These boxes allow us to do
\ngood collectively and passively. Thus we can confirm today that within a mere
\nthree months, the customers and employees of Circle K have given one or two
\ncancer patients in Estonia hope \u2013 a chance to live a fulfilling life, or even
\nrecover.”<\/p>\n
The foundation’s donation boxes will remain
\nat Circle K stations. The company’s cooperation with the foundation extends
\neven further: Circle K stations also sell the foundation’s charity reflectors
\nand the company covers the fuel costs of the foundation’s volunteers traveling
